PBK Primary Care is a clinic that was created with the purpose of practicing family medicine the way we believe it was intended to be; personal, friendly, and genuinely interested in the health and lives of our patients. We spend time with our patients in order to incorporate a more holistic approach to your overall good physical and mental health. Yes, we can (and do) diagnose and "fix what ails you," but our goal is always to help you accomplish more. We strive to also educate patients about the many natural alternatives that are available so you may limit dependence on traditional prescription medications. The idea is not for you to get by on less, but rather to gain the skills, habits and outlook on your overall health to make life fuller and more enjoyable. We always emphasize and encourage the importance of regular exercise and nutrition.
We believe it is always time to practice something that most of us inherently know and have talked about – simple, practical medicine and health care. While the use of medications is an inherent part of what we have come to expect from our doctors and practitioners, it is not (and should not) be the lone ingredient of our personal long-term health and well-being. Even with severe chronic conditions, by incorporating lifestyle changes, natural health alternatives and replacing bad habits with good habits we can greatly improve the quality of day-to-day life!
